The color was overwhelming & too flashy. The carpet was too nasty that we decided to replaced it and it did not have a ceiling fan which here in the Valley you need one.

My first renovation was my oldest daughter room.  She picked the color based on a design from Kids Pottery Barn catalog.  The wall color is Lilac from Bare which you can find at Home Depot. As her name is very artistic Frida we incorporated a yellow vintage antique desk to make it stand out.  She loves to draw and do her homework in her desk so it was a good purchase. My father & husband did the painting and ceiling. The decal was order in Etsy.  The nightstand & desk was purchased in a local antique store named Before & After. The most expensive part was replacing the carpet.
